VP sub box

Hey guys, at the moment i have 2 x 12" subs in just a standard dual sub box.

Now today ive found a picture of this sub box, and am very interested in making one or buying one.

Just wondering if anyone has ideas on how to make one or where to get one from, preferably in SA.

Not sure if they are easily available for the VP, i know the VY-VZ were on ebay a while ago.

To make one you'll have to be fairly good with fibreglass, it requires you to make a f/glass moulding of the area and then add a peice of MDF for the subwoofer. Maybe try gong into a specialist car audio store and ask them about it if you dont feel confident.

One thing to consider though, those types of boxes do sacrifice sound for looks....usually the box is too small to produce a decent amount of bass, it will certainly be less than the prefab enclosure you currently have.

Yeah that's what I've thought and I've decided that it would be more beneficial and better to just make a different custom boot made to the proper specs of the subs.
