fan controls..

hey guys, just trying to fit my headunit and im having some trouble removing the fan controls.
i havent yanked it of anything, been really gentle, can someone please tell me how to remove it?
pics would be even better.

i have actually. the he fan control spot didnt give much info and i dont see any pics on that post..

There is a plastic clip that holds the rod in place, which needs to be pryed open... and the vacuum hoses need to be yanked on. But make sure you have a colour diagram as to were they go back too.... The electrical bit is obvious just unclip it... Hope this helps.

The vacuum hoses can be removed as one from the back of the control module (not sure if you mean this old_bud), and they will only go back on one way.

The heater rod needs to be disconnected on the drivers side, under the dash and in front of the console (if you get me). You'll see a steel rod and a white plastic clip, just unclip it with long nose pliers or a flat screwdriver. BTW its easier if you set the heater on full.
