Where's the thread relating to the steering wheel button converters??

G'day all.

A little while ago I spotted a thread somewhere, a guy had developed an interface for the Commy steering wheel buttons to aftermarket HUs. They were remarkably cheap....

Is he still around? Did anyone get one of these and try it out?

I don't want to pay $250 for a CAT10, that's a rip off- yes it's well engineered, but way OVER-engineered for our needs.
