okay so i've been out of the car audio game for a while and its been a long time since i last worked with car audio wiring and im downgrading to something to simple but im caught in a dilemma ive got 1 x pioneer TS-W307D2 subwoofer with double voice coil
i want to wire the subwoofer so it can run off my bridged mono bloc which is putting out 2 ohms...how do i wire the sub to make it 2ohms?? or is it as simple as plugging the speaker wire straight into one of the terminals? plus i dont have a working multimeter =[
ive checked crutch field and im confused lol
'scuse the picture as i couldnt really get a good focus on the lil diagram on the sticker, but feel free to edit my attached image to show me how

oops jsut read yah bit about crutch field
but im pritty sure this set up will work
yeah see that's the thing, the subwoofer in that diagram has 2 coils that are 4ohms each where as the subwoofer i got has 2 coils that 2ohms each....
hmm thats wierd , i think it still sould work , yah sure yah amp can do other loads apart from 2 ohms?
No, you can't wire a dual 2 ohm sub to be 2 ohm in total.
A dual 2 ohm sub can only be 4 ohm or 1 ohm. You have the wrong sub for that amp.
The amp will run a 4 ohm load, but will make about half the power.
