Default How do I use this "wiring harness"?

I think my other thread I made got a bit off topic and Im making a new thread here just in case no one goes into the VR section...

So I bought a wiring harness because my new deck wasnt compatible with my current wiring and all I need to know is do I put the wires from my new deck into these spots, do I need to scrape a bit of the colored plastic around the wires to show a bit of the metal?

And I put the new wires into those holes.

    Hope someone can help!

That adaptor is adapting a VR radio plug to "ISO" plugs (the one your holding and another).

Not many aftermarket head-units use ISO wiring configs so i would personally shop off the ISO plugs and join the wires from your new head-unit to the wires on the adaptor.

If your not good at soldering you can also buy the wire joiners from supercheap simply stick a wire in each end and crimp them to the joiner.

Just take it back to where you got it from and order the correct adaptor, they are all available. All the popular ones anyway, Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood etc.

So I just got (hopefully) one last question. Im onto the ground wire now, do I just leave that or do I have to connnect that too? (connect the ground wire from the head unit to the ground wire in the wiring harness)

And also. One of the wires on the head units says I need to connect it to the ignition but i have accessories, so i dont need to worry about that?

Yes you will need to connect the ignition wire to the accessories wire.
