Hi all,
this is going to my GF's new sound system for her Toyota Camry Altise 06.
Sub/Bass
Hifonics Brutus BXi2610D Class D AMPLIFIER (2600rmsx1)
Hifonic Olympus 2412 12" (2400rms/4800peak)
Rockford Fosgate RFK1 0 Gauge Amplifier Wiring Amp Kit
Speakers (Front only)
MTX THUNDER TXC 6.1 6.5" (150RMS)
MB QUART DISCUS DSC450 (200RMSx2 Bridged)
Rockford Fosgate RFK4I 4 Gauge Amplifier Wiring Kit RCA
Let me know what you think. Recon it'll be alright?

Amps: Audison SRx2, SRx4 & Alpine M350
Subs: 2x Alpine 10" Type S
Why are you buying 2 wiring kits? You can use the 0ga kit and get a distribution block to split the 0ga to 4ga for the speaker amp. You don't need to run a 0ga and 4ga cable from the battery to the back of the car.
Hmmm... see that's why I posted
Still learning the tricks of the trade.
.......But wait... I'll need 0 gauge for my amp.. it needs to power 2400RMS. Unless you can get a distributor block which has 4 gauge and 0 gauge exits from a 0 gauge input. Need to have a look around now.
Thanks for the post though. Could save money!![]()

Basic distribution block - This has three 0ga inputs/outputs, you can put the 4ga in a 0ga hole because these blocks have wide grub screws that will hold it fine.
Ah k.
Gotta have a look where to get one from.
Also, on the Rockford 0 gauge it's rated for 3600 or 3800 (cant remember), is that RMS power or Peak power? cause the Sub is 2400/4800.

You dont have to worry about how much power the sub is, more the amplifier output. Anyways what you wanna look at is the current draw of the amplifier and how much amps the power cable can pull efficently.
Sounds like your going all out on the GF's system... I like it
Just always remember when your wiring your own stuff up that if your going to start bridging speakers together your lowering the resistance so becareful the amp can handle it (over a prolonged period, not just for 30-sec bursts). A few of my mates got stuck that way and have blown channels on their amps. Just remember ohms law, V=IR.

No, youre getting confused with wiring speakers in parrallel and bridging the outputs of an amp.
Impedance only changes if you wire 2 or more speakers (or voice coils) together then run them off the same channel of an amplifier.
Dont worry Deutscher.
