    Default VX head unit

Hey guys im just wandering how you remove a stock vx head unit. I no you put the coat hanger in the holes im just wandering is there any thing else connected to it other than the wires etc. any screws any thing at all and do you have to disconnect any thing before you start pulling it out.

And secondly is it very hard to install an aftermaket head unit single din. is it straight forward pretty much. any step by steps on either would be great thanks guys.

The headunit just pulls straight out, anything thats connected to it will disconnect when it comes out. Once you've cut up a coathanger, it literally takes about 10 seconds at the most.

Depends what your putting back in there. If its some aftermarket brand (pioneer, alpine, kenwood, etc) then you will most likely need an a adaptor. Supercheap and the like usually stock these.
