Hi all,
I have a quick question I have a four channel amp and just need to know how to install the RCA converters as I want to run the fronts and a sub off the amp
Ahh you'll have to explain what you mean by RCA converters?
Is it the thing that turns speaker cables into RCA cables (line out converter)
Or RCA splitters which turn 2 plugs into 4 plugs?

sorry mate line out convertors
Alrighty you need to connect the inputs of the LOC to the front speaker outputs of the head-unit, easily accessed just above the kick panels before they go into the door.
Mount the LOC at the back or wherever your mounting the amp, and buy a set of short (50cm) RCAs to go from the LOC to the amp.
Im assuming youve got 2 LOCs? if so then you'll need to "tap" into the rear speaker wiring in the pillar before it goes into the rear door, dont just cut the wiring though, as your rear speakers wont work then, strip back the insulation and solder/tape new speaker wires, then run those to the LOC and from the LOC to the amp via 50cm RCAs like the fronts.

Oh yeah with the fronts just cut the speaker cabling, attach the cables coming from the head-unit to the LOC wiring and attach the cables that go to the speaker to your amplifier outputs....if that makes sense![]()
