    Default Alpine 9884e Problem?

OK so here it goes, i have a alpine 9884e and have had it for a while, not bad......
well i took it out of my old car, put it in the new one and it was fine, but now it only works about 30% of the time and the rest it a little light flashes (circles in the pic below)...

Sometimes i will be driving and it will randomly start working and will be fine but once i turn the car off, same thing!

So i thought it may have been a shitty earth, so i took it apart and checked and the earth was actually in a pretty good place but i changed it anyway
    STILL HAPPENS!

I was thinking the fuse at the back of the headunit but would it wouldnt work randomly if that was blown.....
I tried resetting it (little pinhole behind the face) and still does it....

SO can anyone help me? it was fine for a week or 2 but now its stuffing up?

Could be many things, maybe a loose connection on either your constant power or accessories connection, even a loose terminal inside the stereo plug itself can cause this.

Pull the head-unit out and turn the key to accessories, then have a play / move around the stereo wiring to test for a loose connection.

What about the pins inside the Alpine plug that goes into the head-unit?

Its very possible for those to work loose over time, and certainly when transferring the unit into another car.
