Hey guys just wondering what subs you guys would recommend to put in my vs. Looking for a twin sub setup . Also what amps to
thanks
Well firstly , what type of music do you like and whats your budget?
i like rnb,trance,house
no budget.
i'd go Alpine R type and PDX series amp if you can afford it, if not alpine s type with a V series amp.![]()
I've got the two 12'' Alpine type S's in a twin factory box, with matching mono block, Alpine 'V' power amp, and it just destroys the bootlid, compared to my old kenwoods, these crap all over them, for bang for buck, I don't think you can go past them...
Hey what do you think about the mb quart range of subs, speakers?
Vy ss sandman, bringing back the past![CENTER]
what a rockferd fosgate like? and are there any good pioneer subs and amps?
iv got a single 12" alpine s type, but want to go a twin sub setup soon and deck out the system inside the car, whats good to get?
You would benifet from getting 12" subs. For Heavy Rnb 15" subs are best for the deep bass , and for techno 10" subs are small and fast
So yeh 12" subs is a mixture between the two
rockford fosgate are more known for there amps then subs. Ive got 2 kicker subs running off a pioneer mono block and there shaking the shit out of the boot in a custom made box
hey guys
recently purched a
Alpine type R 12" 500rms
and a Alpine mrp mp500 amp 500rms
should be good
what you thinik
Not a bad purchase should be a good all round sub for you..
Got it in yet??

You can wire the subs together to create one circuit, in doing so you change the impedance of the circuit though.
Check out my VP right 'ere!
What he said...^^^
Thats how mine are hooked up, its the way I was reccommend to install...
I used to have the single 12" Alpine Type R in it's Alpine box running of a V12? amp .... not sure nymore hehe.... was decent. Wanted an upgrade tho. Depends how much you like your bass. My gf would be fine with that I'd say ... she not really a fan of loud music. But she's getting my Hifonic 2412 sub on weekend... can't wait to hear my old baby in her car (my car has stupid gas tank etc in boot).
Deck: Alpine 9887
Speakers: Hertz HSK165 XL
Amps: Audison SRx2, SRx4 & Alpine M350
Subs: 2x Alpine 10" Type S
wat do u guys think about this. got 2 12"3000watts subs runnin off a 6000watt amp will my car fall a part

Yeah i'd like to see a link for specs on this gear. I only know a few 6kw (rms) amps and dont think theres many 3kw (rms) subs getting around......they sound like "max" or "pmpo" figures?
150db in a commodore =
alpine type R's or kicker L7alpine type R splits
best news mate, twin subs only waste twice as much money.
There is no gain (well very marginal) from SPL or quality!
So again, why twin? why not just one good one?
hey im gonna be puttin 2 12" kickers in my boot "not sure on the model number or whatever" im gonna make up a false floor for the amps and a custom box 2 sit flush against the back off the rear seats in between the hood thing (yu get where i mean) jus wondering is it better 2 have them facing in2 the car as 2 be pushing on the back off the seats or the other way facing in2 the boot?
Facing the boot will be louder but will cause more rattles.
I love to listen to my techno but also like a lot of pop music and that... what would my best bet be ?? A 12 or 2 tens ??
