    Default neeed advice

hey all, i just wanted to know if you have a product that can fix my problem. i recently sprayed my calipers red which left a thin layer of red dust on my car. i just washed it and it seems as if it has left me with a slight red tinge of my black vt, just wanted to know if you have a wash, cut and polish or anything that could get rid of that red tinge and give me back my shiny black car!!!!

    im freakin out!

Use either a wax & grease remover or clay bar to remove if still fairly fresh and then re-wax/seal

Use a clay bar - straight up.

It should lift the overspray right off the car, especially if its still relatively fresh.

You can get it from this sponsor. Don't make the mistake I made and buy Meg's clay. It doesn't actually remove anything! I suggest Clay Magic Blue and #49 Clay Lube. There are different types of clay but I suggest you go for a fine clay if you have never used it before. Should be about $55 for both. Also you will need to wax after claying. Also don't be stingey with the lubrication when claying otherwise you'll marr the paint. Far better to use too much than too little and as you go you'll get a better feel for it. You'll also be very surprised how much crap it removes.

I've used Megs clay before with good results.

The Dodo Clay bar kits are the best value and the clay is the best quality you will get. There are two packs with different sizes of lube:

Car Care Products / Dodo Juice / Exterior / Clay Bars & Kits / Dodo Clay & Born Slippy Duo

Car Care Products / Dodo Juice / Exterior / Clay Bars & Kits / Gentle Grey Clay Bar & Magic Lube

There is also a great 'how to guide' located here: How To // Car Care Products

Just work panel by panel and the clay bar will take off the overspray without any issues.

    Cheers Greg
