Default Water Marks in the Clear Coat

    Hi, how are you?/

my black 2006 car has just been washed, colour cured and slightly clay bared. The problem is that even though clay bar has been usd and colour cure, when the car is dried with a chamois in certain light it looks as though there are water marks all over the paint, it is as though the water mark is embedded in the clear coat. Any idea on how i would get rid of that and a suggestion of product to use? Thanks

I am also having this issue. I can spend 2 hours rubbing with a clay bar and they will still be there.

You will need a fine cut polish to get them out. There is another thread titled "Crying about my clear coat" that has the same issue.

I pretty much fixed the majority of the issue with meguairs swirl remover 2.0 which is a very light product. Looks much better.

I had the same problem. They had etched into the paint and the clay bar did nothing. I used this car polish which is only a light product but removed the marks and left the paint looking awesome.
