Default Cleaning Those Tight Little Spots And Carpet

my ute was a real work banger and just cleaning the interior really well. few questions

    1. the carpet is filthy , whats the best way to get it clean? it is most just dirty with a few little stains

    2. the air vents are also filthy, mostly dust i think and i cannot figure out a way to clean the little spots in the interior such as the air vents, air con control panel and other tight little areas. are there any products that will help me?

I detailed a car for a wedding the other day, and used cotton buds in the air vents, then a little paint brush for around the ac buttons, door locks etc.

CCP can point you in the right directions for products on the carpets etc though

As above, the Duragloss Fabric and Carpet cleaner is great:
Car Care Products / Duragloss / Interior / Carpet & Upholstery / Fabric & Carpet Cleaner

The 303 Cleaner concentrate is also great:
    Car Care Products / 303 Products / Interior / Carpet & Upholstery / Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner

As for vents, there are a few tools out there that make it easier. A good tip is to use a small brush to agitate the dust and brush it into a vacuum, holding the brush in one hand and the vacuum in the other.

    Try some of these:
Car Care Products / Vikan / Car Accessories / Brushes & Mitts / Detailers Small Brush Kit
Car Care Products / Edge / Car Accessories / Detailing Accessories / Foam Tips

As always, I'd advise dressing the trim with 303 Protectant afterwards: Car Care Products / 303 Products / Interior / Dash & Trim / Aerospace Protectant

    cheers Greg
