Self explanatory, do i need to wax??
If so whats a good wax (not too expensive) I should use over paint protection??
Cheers mate
This question has many answers, or questions to give you your answer, When they tell you it has a Lifetime warrranty, "crap" If you see 12 months by doing everythiing they say you are lucky. If you put Wax or sealant over the top you will void the warranty. Will it help yes, if the car is getting near its end of protection life. A good Wax or sealant can be had from $26 for a good sealant and there are good waxes out there for $40- $50 so dont fall into that trap either, that have great durability and a nice finish. Remember the shine is only as good as the prep work, meaning how well it has been polished using polishes (Abrasive and Chemical) Hope this helps and I gues you will get other answers.
As above, even though dealer paint protections may have a lifetime warranty there is usually conditions such as the paint protection has to be reapplied every year. Read the fine print. For the first year I wouldn't worry too much but after that I would start using a sealant or wax.

ok cheers guys, is there a good thread to look into for detailed steps? or is waxing just as simple as a good wash, then rubbing in the wax? First car ive owned where i actually give a toss about the finish (triton mitsu etc)
Hi Kuzman,
Like some of the guys have said Paint Protection from Dealers has a limited life (most people only ever put it one car and then know better for the next time) depending on where your car lives during the day / night, how often you use it and how many kms you drive will determine whether you need a Paint Sealant or Wax.
If you want any further help or suggestions feel free to PM, call or email at any time
Cheers,
Mike

There's a lot of misinformation going around when it comes to paint protection. Friends of ours bought a Subaru and added paint protection to the price. Then they say "We never have to buy car wash again. You just use a sponge and clean water" It won't be long before that car has swirls all over it because a car wash also acts asa lubricant. Just moving dirt around with plain water and sponge will make the dirt act like an abbrassive.
