You could try to vacuum them out or if that doesn't work, try to blow them out with a heat gun.

The only way you're going to get them off is with a machine polish. Clay may get it off but you'll then need to machine polish to remove the marring.

For the interior of the car then a really good vacuum and maybe a shampoo for the upholstery and carpets should draw the particles out.

For the exterior of the clay; gentley washed and dry the car first, then get a good clay (like Dodo Juice or Clay Magic) and a good lube like Born Slippy. Use plenty of lube and gently clay your paint in small section (divide the bonnet into 6, half a door etc) clay is the only real and safe way to remove the particles. If you use good products and work gently then you should not need to machine polish after.

The level of contamination will also depend on how well your car was waxed or sealed, if you are using something good then the particles should ave less of a grip on your paint, if it was a cheap wax or none then you have your work cut out.

    Hope this helps.

I thought a machine polish would work and now you've confirmed it, thanx !
