    Default Need some advice.

    Hi.

I recently did a two stage machine polish using Menzerna FF OP85RD on orange then on a black finishing pad. I did one pass with each pad hoping this would be enough to remove the very fine swirling I have. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. What I'm wondering is what should I use before the FF OP85RD to remove the swirls? I was thinking either Menzerna IP PO91L or Menzerna PFCC PO203S.

    Thoughts?

    *Edit*
Not sure if it makes any difference but I'm using an RO.

    Hi,

Menzerna PO85rd is a Final finishing Polish with only a small amount of cut. Yes you will need to trade up to an Intensive PO91L or Power Finish PO203s which have a lot more cut - although still save and easy to use with your RO. I would go for 91L if you have which should work well on both your VY and VW but is a little cheaper than 203s. Use one of these with the orange pad and then go over with the 85rd on the black pad. The 91L and Orange should 'cut' out most/all your swirls and the 85rd with black will then enhance the gloss.

Let me know if you need anything more.

    Cheers

Not if it is an 04 so you should be fine with 91L but if you are looking to the future then maybe the 203s or Menzerna Sampler Pack

Thankyou for the prompt assistance. I've ordered the 91L. Now I just have to break it to the wife I'm going to spend another Saturday polishing the car!
