Default black skirts on VT 1 Executive

    Hi,

I'm just wondering if/what i can use to get my skirts looking as black as they came out of the factory? i got a new front bumper and would like to get the rest of the skirts looking the same sweet black without taking them off and painting them!

    Thanks
    Matt

Give them a polish using an abrasive polish and then seal/Wax, have a look in this forum on the steps of polishing, CCP have some good Vids

Wet ‘n Black® Tire Care by turtle wax is a good one, i use it on my vt, i still have photos of when it was very faded and weather worn. after using that wet and black a few times (over a few months) my side rear and front skirts are much darker with no more faded rubbish.
the 'shine' you get after just spraying it over comes up beut and typicaly lasts about 2 weeks or so befor you need to clean the excess silicon off to reveal a decent black finish. It won't be like perfect from factory but a hellofa better than what it was after 9 years daliy use.
