Hey guys/girls
I was washing my car the other day when my dad gave me this FW1 Cleaning Wax. I dont know where he got it from I but gave it ago anyway. The Calais came up with some good results, very shinny etc, has lasted maybe a month now. Just wondering what other peoples opinions of this product are; I did a quick search and didnt pull up any results on JC. Did a search on Google and many reviews say its a gimmick and ruins the paint after awhile.
Heres the link to their website, what do you guys/girls think? Worth it or should I invest my money else where?

I have used it for a while and it is not bad at all. Would only use it for a quick clean for a max of 2 in a row then a proper wash with water and detergent. Good on windows too, kind of acts like rain-x.
Probably bought it from a shopping centre car park after being mobbed by the guys trying to sell it from their stand to people trying to buy groceries. I see them all the time

Yeah ive heard its rather good on windows, might give that a go. When I used it, I applied it after I washed the car gave it a nice shine and that glossy waxy look. What wax do you use?
Yeah i read a few things about people being "bullied" into buying it

Most over the counter Meguiars stuff (ScratchX anyone?) is full of fillers as well.
its a pretty insane product, i remember i was filling up petrol so i was forced to listen to the guy while i was filling up, he showed me a demo on the window and rims, what impressed me was the rims, he sprayed it and wiped it then goes and gets dirt from between the brakes uses 1 finger and rubs it on the rim and it doesnt stick then rubs top of his hand and it sticks...
its not a bad product except the price, its like 40 dollars a can
Yeah the stuff is a bit pricy but it works pretty well i got quite a few scratches out with it a while ago and theyre still gone. Works really well on the wheels too.
They do chase you down tho that is the only down side it just make people not want to even try it
ill just stick to washing my car 2 times a week. rims, wheel arches and body washed, dried and waxed in under 30min including setting up and packing up. why use something cheap and nasty when doing it properly takes bugger all time
