hey guys,
ive got a SV6 in black,
the other day i noticed all these little scratches in a line on the left side on the bonnet and boot, i reckon it might have been a cat or something cause their only like a cm long but theres quite a few of them. they dont look too deep and look like they could possibly be fixed.
What im asking is what i should be looking at getting, or should i take it somewhere to be fixed? I heard theres cut and polish of some sort that is coloured black that is able to fill in the scratches but im unsure,
hope you guys can help and ill try get some pictures up if you guys need em.
cheers.
If you run your nail across them and it catches then you're not going to get rid of them. Go and see a professional detailer to get them buffed out. Fillers will wash out then you will be left with the scratches again!
from what i can remember, i dont think that they are that deep that my nail would catch on them, although an outside detail job wouldnt be took bad, where and how much can i expect to pay for one?
What state are you in?
melbourne, south east subburbs.
Cost will depend on what you get done I guess. Try these guys.

Alright thanks, so you reckon its better to take to ones of those 'scratch and dint' repair guys or some detailing place?
Go to a detailer mate. Just be careful where you go as there are a lot of dodgy ones out there. Would also recommend Damian Angelucci at Final Inspection but he's in Campbellfield.
