Hi,
In the next few weeks I'm looking to get some Dodo Juice products including some wax but I'm undecided whether to go for a hard or soft wax (Banana Armour or Orange Crush).
My first instinct was to go with the hard wax, but as I'll be applying by hand will the soft be a better option? And is there much/any difference in longevity between the two?
Also I'm assuming either of these will suit the colour hot house green? (being a 'warm' colour)
Thanks
What do you mean by "hard" and "soft" wax, do you mean Liquid and Paste wax?
Wax in liquid form is easier to apply with less rubbing, however it doesn't last as long.
Paste wax is harder to apply, but lasts longer and provides more protection.

Dodo market their waxes as having a hard and soft option for each colour type. I.e. warm, dark, light etc
Personally I think the whole hard soft is a bit of a gimmick.
Yeah thats what I'm trying to figure out, whether there is a difference other than the smell![]()
personaly all my cars i used meguiers gold wax in the tin, comes as a hard block that ya melt with friction from the pad, i put that on my VK over a year ago and still comes up lookn the same today as it did wen it was 1st waxd with a quik wash, since usen that iv neva touched a liquid wax.
BAD COP!! NO DONUT!!
There is not too much difference between Dodo Juice hard and soft waxes - they are about the same durability and gloss factor (although some still stay the soft has more gloss and the hard has more durability). The real difference is in the application; the hard wax can only be put on with an applicator pad (foam or suede) and is slightly easier to get a nice thin coat. The soft wax can be put on 'by hand' (actually put it on your bare hands and massage onto the car) this is great when your car paint is cold (think the UK) so you can warm the wax and get the oils and carnauba working together and spread more easily.
Both are great options and yes the warm ones would be well suited to Hot House Green.
