Have a look here for the full Detailing Order - CCP Guide To Detailing
Regarding the waxing last time - did you clay bar first? If not you should this time to remove all that rough contamination.
Quick Detailer cannot replace a wax, but can be used over the top after regular washing to provide more shine, and if certain products more protection.
Have a good read through the guide and other topics and let us know if you need help with products or other processes

turtal liquid wax
easy or hard to apply by hand?
end finish good or bad?
also clay bar
eas or hard to apply by hand?
what lub should be used to help the process?
Turtle Wax is an off the shelf easy applied wax that you can pick up at any auto store. This doesnt mean its not as good as any other wax although it may not have as higher range ingredients or durability as the more expensive verisons. Some people will swear by it, others will tell you your wasting your money. Its up to you to decide wether or not the results you achieve with Turtle Wax are what you are expecting and want.
The Clay bar process is very simple (although alittle tiring!) and makes your car have that factory smooth finish. You would normally use a quick detailer or a purpose lubricant.
CCP have a range of Wax and Clay bar options for you to choose from that will give you the results your looking for: Car Care Products / Car Care, Car Wax, Car Polish, Car Covers, Detailing products & more ...
