    Default Detailing and Fresh Paint.

Just had a a new front bumper painted and put on and a gaurd resprayed last friday.

I'm looking at doing a full detail in a week or so.. Should I wait a bit longer so the paint cures or should it be ok?

    cheers

It depends on the paint type and how long it was baked, but if it was a quality repair then you should be fine to use a light polish and seal/wax.

I would use a proper sealant or carnauba wax though and stay away from the cheap junk packed with silicones, that is why body shops do not like you toucjing it for 4-6 weeks...

Paints Acrylic and not sure on how long it has been baked, I could find out. Would be a good quality repair as we know the bloke who did all the painting/bodywork.

I gave it a good wash on Monday and used some Carnauba wax on it.
