Ah dear me, there is always a doubting Thomas.
Moderators, could you please explain as to why my reply to Car Care Products has been deleted?
Thanks

I'd hazard a guess that it was deleted due to the fact you are being an arse to a sponsor of the site, one that looks after us with great deals, great advice and educates us with a high degree of professionalism.
No, I'm not saying the site sponsor is an arse, but need more knowledge on the subject.

I suggest you have a better read of what I said, specifically who I referred to as being the arse.![]()
how about adding something constructive. seen alot of you bagging people out because you dont agree with their knowlage but still yet to see anything in sponsors section for car care products (the business) that is constructive.
how about posting up some of the products and processes you use and im sure we can all pick that apart too......then again we may not because it benifits no one

Is a wax better than a sealant?
I've been using the Autoglym sealant should I invest in a wax also?
Its your call, give it a try and see for yourself.
You can,t go wrong either way.
In terms of durability sealants last a bit longer, as they are man made.
With wax, a bit less durability as it contains man made sealant + carnauba wax, so the difference between the two is carnauba component.
You,ll also find there is some difference in the wet look thing, in which wax in general pops up a bit better.
But above all, your car needs to be free of bonded contaminants and swirls before applying wax/ sealant. So - washing, claying, paint correction/swirl removal, and then wax/sealant at the end.
With some paints/colours i find it beneficial to apply 2 coats of wax, 24 hours appart .. Or even better, one layer of sealant followed by one coat of wax.
