can you recommend a good long lasting sealant/wax please
i was thinking dodo juice, but i know its a pain to apply so unless it lasts awhile it might not be worth the effort
Hi,
Dodo Juice is pretty easy to apply and remove, just keep the wax layer thin and all good.
Liquid sealants are usually longer lasting than a wax and are also very easy to apply. One of the longest lasting (but great value for money) is Duragloss Paint Protection Pack The two parts bond together and offer good shine and exceptional durability
Hope this helps

yeh thats kinda what im after, but too many products
Im looking for one sealant/wax that is liquid or spray on, thats good quality and long lasting
I liked the look of duragloss aquawax and autoglym aquawax...
I just spent 11hrs today detailing my wagon. I bought the Das 6 RO polisher off CCP.
After the paint correction, I finished off with the Duragloss Paint Protection Pack. Very easy to apply and remove. The end result was amazing.
I highly recommend it. I have a now found respect for detailers, it's hard work but the end result is worth it.
Thanks Mike for the advice to.![]()
the issue i have with the pack is that it includes a polish,
i was under the impression that polishes were abrasive and hence you dont polish unless you need to (like once a year minimum),
i was kinda just after the protection and shine layer that I could apply every month or so, hence a wax or sealant...
any recommendations for a good one step liquid or spray wax/sealant
just finished my car on the weekend... I swear by Wolfgang Paint Sealant..easy liquid application then wipe off easy...then let it cure for a min of 12 hours and then i use P21S carnauba wax...It is so good and easy beacuse it also does not stain unpainted plastics... Its the way to go..But im sure there are heaps of products that claim the world, but these are really good mate....
Polishes have different levels of cut. A compound will have a heavier cut than a polish and you're going to take bugger all off with a hand polish anyway. I suggest you clay, then hand polish to remove any marring from claying then seal with a sealant. If you want longevity then use a synthetic sealant not a wax.
The Duragloss Total Performance Polish 105 is not actually a 'polish' (Americans appear to call a lot of things a polish) it is actually a Paint Sealant - you can use it on it's own and it will last 2-3 months easily, if you use Polish Bonding Agent before it extends the durability further to 4-6+ months between applications. Then you use the Fast Clean and Shine (or Aquawax) after your regular wash, this will add gloss and further boost the protection of the TPP underneath, making it water sheet/bead better. so the pack is designed to give guys a complete long lasting paint protection option.

ahh ok, always got confused with the way some companies use the term polish
the duragloss protection pack is the go. i use the tpp 105 on 90-95% of the polishing jobs i do, also i use the 111 on a few cars and only the very special ones get the dodo wax applied. 601 + 105 and u wont go wrong
Hi, What do you think about Collinite Waxes, I have seen beaut results with 476s ,a mate of mine used it once, has anyone else know or used it.
Colli 476 is a good wax, long lasting. It does not have the shine and depth of Colli 915 or some of the other Carnauba Paste Waxes like Dodo Juice but it lasts very well more like a sealant.

I have used P21s wax and Poorboys paint sealant, both have given me very good results.
I checked out glassplexin when it first came out, absolute shit!
