Hey guys i recently had the left side of my car resprayed (white) and i can see over spray on the black trimming side skirts, on the inside of the window (on the tint) on the door (i have no idea how they did that) and what im most worried about a bit on my door trim and black leather interior. How do i and what do i use to clean it all up?
I did some research and some people said that olive oil works a treat - any thoughts on that????
Also how about a steam clean? will it work? will it damage the leather????
Bud , goto a reputable automotive paint supplier and ask them for some "clay" . im not been funny it's fairdinkum use it with soapy water , the guy can tell you how to use it . Make sure you condition your leather after youve finished .

Yep i think i know what your talking about. Is this what you mean???
Automotive Clay Bar Overspray Eraser Bar
If its on cloth, prepsol.
Personally i'd be taking it back to the place you had it sprayed and asking them to fix it.
He's a mate of a mate. And he did me a big favour re: repairing my car. So that will be may last option.
Ahh prepsol will work on leather too. Just dries it out a little so you'll need to use some leather care products afterwards.
ill look into both but im leaning towards on the clay bar as i think prepsol would be a bit harsh on the leather? or should i dilute it a bit???
Plus it wont hurt his tint , prep will !!

The clay also relies on a taught surface too, so no guarantee it will work all that well.
Have used clay many a time on leather / vinyl / tint / plastic / rubber with great succes in my 25 yrs in the game , trick with seats is to pull em tight . Magic stuff . Ud be surprised wht ull get of ur paint work giving it a good scrub with it .

Since when does prepsol hurt tint?
I don't have the patience to use a clay bar on flexible surfaces.
Generally have had to do it after some #### head screwed up and then I have the boss going nuts. Epic fail - sums the whole industry up.
Dont know about in NSW im in QLD . But look in the yellow pages under "automotive paint suppliers " any of em will be sure to help you , if not their assholes an goto the next one
