    Default Sea Side Sealant

    What do people use that live near the beach to prevent the salt etching away at your paint?? my last cars paint was devoured just don't want it to happen again!

    any help would be much appreciated

    Unfortunately being in a "Sea" based area the air carries the salt either way to your car.

    The best i would say is something like Nanolex Paint Premium Kit. It will give you 12 months protection. Wash weekly if you can or fortnightly at the worst to make sure you are looking after it as much as possible.

    I would recommend every few months giving your car a good blast with a high pressure hose underneath and including the engine bay to remove any salt particles that have stuck there etching away. Check out the how to library for this as it may give you a bit of insight and help.
