Default Washing a car was easy when I was a kid!!!

Reading through posts and realize I had no idea what you had to do to look after a cars paint work...

Could someone point me in a direction to the idiots guide to washing your car!!!

Why do you need to do all the things below after washing the car??

    1. Clay bar
    2. Sealant bonder
    3. Sealant
    4. Wax
    5. Polish

I assume from these a wax is most important to protect the paintwork???

    Thanks
    Cam

LOL, you don't need to do any of that.
Clay bar is good for getting tar and crap off. Wax and polish if you want a really deep shine.
The rest of it is a total waste of energy for a daily.

Is the wax and polish in 1 any good or is it better to wax then polish?

    Spot on.

Your best off doing preparation as a Wax or Sealant is for shine and protection after all the hard work is put into making it look good!
