Hey guys.
Just wondering what good quality Chamois I should be looking at?
Also, what product will remove heavy water marks from glass? Is THIS the best option? I only need it to remove the water marks as I'll be using Nanolex as the sealant.
Oates Clean
and get a glass polish and go over it a couple of times, try razorblading anything heave off there![]()
i run with 2 mint waffle weave xl drying towels per car along with duragloss aquawax. any minor streaks are sorted out with duragloss fast clean and shine to give a spotless finish while minimising the chance of causing swirls.
for the glass go for the duragloss nu glass polish. works great and has pleanty of bite to remove the stubborn water marks. also a good idea to clay the glass aswell. the stoners invisible glass is a great glass cleaner but wont help with the etched water marks.
Yeah id go Oates clean. Thats what i use and think its great.
Will also vouch for NuGlass polish, was simple to use and was happy to be finally rid of those annoying water marks
Get the enjo car gear it is amazing, heaps expensive but the best product i have ever used
So that glass stuff works good ? My car need something good as the windows have thoese water drop marks and did buy a $30 polish or wet ever it was called but did nothing.
cheers

Nothing will really remove anything but the lightest water marking from glass. I've use Menzerna on a rotary without much luck.
Have you tried the glass polish before?

Thread dig.
I have found the last few chamois I've bought have had a horrid oily residue which leaves oily streaks over the car no matter how many times I rinse it out. Can't remember the name of the cheapish brand now but I'll spend the bucks if anyone recomends a good, non oily brand. Thanks.

hey mate, try this Microfibre Chamois which would be a good change for your leather (leather do scratch/damage paint surface as it drags the dirt particles over paint, including dust).
Personally i would recommend a Waffle Weave Drying Towel over either however to avoid ANY scratching of the surface during the wash process. (And of course a microfibre or lambswool mitt as well).

I have a Meguires microfibre chamois which works very well.
Thanks guys. I shall look into maybe getting a Meguiar's. The ones I have aren't leather, never used a leather chamois.
