I made a mistake with my windows :(

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of help after I made a rookies mistake when trying to fix a screech that my windows would make when opened and closed.

I sprayed WD-40 in the sills and now my windows are terribly smudged with oil and smell terribly of WD-40.

What can I do to reverse this? or at least clean my windows properly?

I use WD-40 on windows at work so my cement render doesnt stick to them. We use degreaser on the windows after the job and then just hose them off. If we have a fussy client we then hit it with some windex after they have dried off...
