    Default Wax or Paint Sealant???

    Hi Guys,

I was planning on doing a full detail on my car. It's an Impulse Blue SV6 and has some light swirl marks from my own ignorance. I was planning on washing and claying the car then using one of these Car Care Products RO Polisher DAS6 Kit Plus to remove the swirls.

But I am a little lost with how to finish? I was after a really glossy deep finish. ATM I was thinking either
Car Care Products / Duragloss / Exterior / Paint Sealant / Paint Protection Pack OR
Car Care Products / Dodo Juice / Exterior / Wax - Premium / Blue Velvet
Which do you guys believe would give a deeper glossier appearance? Or is there something else that would be Better?

I am also after a good Interior shampoo, Is the Autoglym interior shampoo any good? or is there something else you would recommend.

Thanks for your input and your fantastic site which is full of great info.

    Hey mate,

Sorry for the delayed reply, i thought i honestly replied but clearly didnt hit "post" (der!)

You are basically on the ball with the kit.

Being the Impulse Blue i would jump onto a Wax as it would really make the metallic pop out and give a very warm/deep glow to the car. The Dodo Juice Purple Haze or Blue Velvet (mentioned by you) would be the pick definitely for your paint. I would if i may suggest possibly grabbing this Dodo Juice Half Cut Kit as it has your pre-wax cleanser, and also applicators/cloths which would turn out to bit cheaper for you in the long run.

For Interior Cleaning, how bad and what exactly are you wanting to clean and we can work out what is best for you.

After doing all the work to your car, just keep the maintenance up with a good pH-Neutral Wash Shampoo, and a good Microfibre Mitt and Microfibre Drying Towel. (No sponge, no leather chamois!)

Hope that helps a bit, more questions just shoot em over!

Thanks for clearing that one up. I've thrown out the chamois and sponge don't worry about that.

I tried some of my mates Autoglym interior shampoo on a couple of dirtier patches of the interior and they came up really well so I'll just stick with that for the interior.

Just need the Minister of Finance to approve and I'll be placing an order shortly.

Once again thanks for the help.

see how the MOF goes and let us know anytime, no rush.

If you find your interior not coming up still how you want, i would look later in getting it professionally done (shampoo seats, not steam clean). About 150-300 depending how many seats etc.

    Cheers
