I found out the other day my bottle of wax has turned completely to water, after not having used it for more than 6 months and being kept in the boot of my car. Also, my touch up paint has almost hardened and darkened, so I can't use that anymore either.
My friend said it was because it gets too hot in the boot of my car. If that's the case, I can always put it in a cooler area somewhere in the house, but I initially thought the car was a good idea because there'd be occasional movement to 'shake' things up a bit.
Where is the best place to keep these sorts of things?
In your garage in a locker type deal like u buy at stratco, beleive it or not once u open a new container of oil if u dont use it that will also start to break down
To be honest i would keep your products in the garage as mentioned. Whether you have it in a cabinet/locker style or even on the shelf i would just make sure no direct sunlight and it will be fine.
Leaving anything in a car due to the heat / cold changes constantly on a daily basis would cause anything to go a bit wacky eventually. Imagine if you were in the boot! haha.

hehe ok thanks guys for the responses...will keep it in the garage in the future and stop wasting my products away!
products in garage away from heat and sunlight. i was told to keep touch up paint in the fridge. have had mine in there for 6 months and still fine
I keep my stuff in a cupboard inside the house. My garage doesn't have insulation so it gets to 0 in winter and 40 in summer.
