I hate a bottle of woodglue rolling around the back of my car for a bit. Went to clean it and it had leaked onto the carpet. There i like a 5cm circle blob of it thats hardened. How could i get it out?
Well I use a product at work called Bondcrete and its pretty much the same as wood glue. If its dry then your pretty much stuffed. I spilled a drum of it in my 4x4 once and the only way I saved it was to hose it out straight away.
So yeah, there isnt much you can do to reverse it.
White wood glue can be removed with repeated applications of warm water. Just soak a rag in warm water and rest it on the glue. It will gradually soften and repeated applications will eventually melt it and enable you to rinse it out.
Spent my working life using this stuff.
Put a piece of paper over the glue and iron over it the paper should absorb the glue (this works with wax not sure about glue).
