    Default New car help

Iam about to get a new ute, and was wondering what the best setup car cleaning wise would be?

stuff like sponges, chamois, car wash/wax to use

sorry if this question has been asked a million times

also it will be parked outside for most of the time, i wish it could be indoor, so what kind of gear do you suggest for durability and protection?

give the guys at car care products a call to discuss your needs and goals. for protection it would be a sealant seeing as it will live outside. it really comes down to how much you want to spend. you could go with either the duragloss combo of 601 and 105 which is extremely easy to use. next would be wolf's chemicals body wrap or nanolex sealant. both of these require a bit more prep work but the extra protection is worth it.

as for maintaining the look i ONLY recommend the following:
2 microfibre wash mitts (1 for paint and 1 for wheels)
2 buckets (1 for wash solution, 1 with fresh water to rinse wash mitt in)
duragloss 901 car wash concentrate or dodo juice supernatural car wash (very little is needed per wash)
microfibre waffle wave drying towels (does less damage to paintwork then a chamois does)
duragloss aquawax (liquid wax that is used when drying car).

also car care products have a how to section on there website which includes video's showing the correct methods to look after your cars finish, definetly worth the look.

Yeah I had a quick look at all the how to's they have there, it's a really easy site to navigate

I thought I would post here to get some feedback, is all that gear available in NSW? or will I have to buy through car care products? Not that I mind I would actually rather buy through him as he will take time to help me with questions etc

you will have to get it from ccp as they are not sold at auto store. the gear these guys sells is far superior to anything that is bought off the shelf at autobarn/supercheap/repco and the likes. living outside of sydney isnt a prob as they have very fast postage. i can 100% garentee that mike or pierre will be able to help you out with your needs.
