I recently bought a Red VY SII SS Ute from a good mate.

It has not been garaged for the last year or so.. I dont think he waxed it also. I see that the QLD sun has done some damage.. not too bad.

The Drivers door looks like a different (dull) shade of red (is this oxidisation?) I remember he did a quick 10 min cut on the door 6 months back, it worked for 3 weeks then started to go slightly dull again, due to the fact he didnt wax/protect it I assume?

Unfortunately I don't have a Garage also.. But I do wash it every 1-2 weeks

I have my eye on your Nanolex Premium Paint Sealant Kit which should suit me fine me thinks. (This will last 12 months in the QLD sun and being non-garaged?)

The whole car needs a good going over with a fine cut and polish, could you advise any decent products?

my advice is to get it done professionally as they should be able to get the colour looking like new again, i used to detail but i couldnt remember the names of the productsw that we used if you stabbed me

Michael,

If you have a RO DA machine i would recommend grabbing say dependent on your backing plate size either the Lake Country Pad Kit, or the Festool Pad Kit in combination with Menzerna Polishes to correct the paint.

Once you have done so you can do your Nanolex Premium Paint Kit otherwise even maybe Duragloss if you want another option however being a Polymer Sealant approx 6-8 months protection at a time for a daily/parked outside car.

So in order it would be, Clay the Paint, Machine Polishes, Use a Pre-Cleaner from Nanolex if you chose that, and follow with the Sealant.
