Default Newly painted car paint protection

I recently had my car painted and bird droppings has left marks over night and i've cleaned it as soon as possible

i haven't applied anything to the fresh painted as it is going back to be rectified, lucky me, i think it's the worst panel shop in VIC

so what should i apply to it after i get it back to stop this ?

    wax, sealer , something ?

If your main concern is protection then go for a synthetic sealant. Waxes are great but aren't very durable.

I use next gen wax on my ute, but it's not a bulletproof coating, bird shit and the likes will still need to be cleaned off ASAP.

Like Bravo says above s good synthetic/polymer sealant is going to offer greater protection than a wax, certainly like tech wax / nxt gen.

Try something like this Car Care Products / Duragloss / Exterior / Paint Sealant / Paint Protection Pack the combination of the bonding agent and the 105 will provide a durable protection (3-6 months easily depending on conditions) and if you are going to get attacked by birds then do 2 coats of the 105 to make sure.

Have a feel of your paintwork when you pick the car up to make sure it is smooth, most bodyshops give you 'overspray' for free! If this is the case give it a clay before sealing to make sure it will stick properly.
