    Default Aerospace Protectant

    Hi guys, i was just browsing your site and came across this :

    Car Care Products / 303 Products / Interior / Dash & Trim / Aerospace Protectant

    I was just wondering, how does this compare to such products as amor all? Is it better? does it last any longer? Or is it roughly the same?

    It sounds good in the description, was thinking of buying a bottle and testing it out as my car sits in the sun all day at work and even though my windows are tinted, i put a sun shade up and constantly amor all my interior plastics, they fade really quickly and im constantly re applying to get them looking their best.
    Would this product hold up better than what im using at the moment? (amor all)

    Cheers, Al

    On a scale of 1-10
    Armorall = 2
    Aerospace = 9

    I use it on external plastics as well.

    armour all is the sh1t.......oh wait i got that wrong.....armour all is sh1t

    sure it makes things all shiney and leaves a film of silicone to attract more dust so if thats the look you are after then go for it.

    alternitively if you are after a great product that wont atteract dust, protect your trims, and not give the fake shiney finish then 303 is the product for you.

    i buy it in 3.8L bottles and is one of only two products i use of interiors, the other being duragloss fast clean and shine which is a quick detailer. 303 for everything bar woodgrain/alloy finishes, and a couple of hard plastic finishes which i use the duragloss

    That is very true...Didn't note that when using 303

    Just wondering, because I have used amoural on the bumpers before trying 303, could this have had an effect on the result

    I'd say it would be better to strip the amourall off with detergent/soapy water before applying 303

    Some great info above on the 303 Protectant.

    Like Toey mentions 303 will not 'fake dye' your plastics back to a deep colour for a short amount of time because it does not contain silicones and solvents. It is also not greasy, like some, so will not attract that dust.

    Yes having other protectants or silicone already on trim will stop 303 working properly, so a good clean with APC or detergent first is always advisable.

    If you are looking to build up some protection then you can do multiple coats, especially useful for older plastics but leave a day between applications for the 303 to penetrate and be absorbed by the plastic. For very faded trim this is not the product for you, you might look at Black WOW or others for exterior plastic trim.

    And it is always best to apply to a cloth and then wipe over (like all protectants and most products) than to spray on the surface.

    303 Protectant is excellent for plastics (porous not coated), vinyl, rubber, interior trim, consoles, seals, exterior trim, engine covers, engine hoses, tonneau covers, mudflaps, wiper blades and even on your tyres (a natural sheen, not gloss)...

    So i just detailed the car inside and out today using the 303 protectant for my rubber and interior black surfaces

    Stripping the amor all off the surfaces:

    Before:

    After:

    I must say, i am very impressed with this product, seems to go on easy, doesnt attract dust that i can tell (maybe because it has no oil in the product, im not too sure though)
    It has left a nice natural shine to the inside plastics and rubber and i'll definately be buying this product again (unless it goes out of stock/they stop making it of course)

    Cheers CCP!

    Ive got to say, I think 303 has been the best stuff I bought from CCP. I applied it on my dash and interior plastics maybe 6-8months ago and it still has that wonderful clean look. Would be a great time to purchase some of it before Summer hits to look after your interior. Highly recommended!

    The best part is, has no silicones and can cause no damage to your plastics, rubbers or vinyl. And! Its SPF40, definitely needed for this summer!

    And most of all, even safer to use for engine bay dressing as it in fact protects the rubbers!

    I've a friend who's a detailing nut and loves this product, too.
    I'm buying some.
