I accidently sprayed armorall of some surface protection stuff onto the plastic screen on my speedo n it has soaked in and ive cant get it out, It has turned the plastic kinda white and no so clear, any suggestion to hopefully remove it?

Anyone know of anywhere that sell the plastic covers? Or would i have to buy a whole speedo and swap it over? (is that even possible?)

There's this complete speedo, Holden VT instrument cluster / speedo | eBay but you could try Holden to see how much a new one is.

Or PM Mick1988, he wrecks VT's he will have one, but he is in Perth.

I use fine polish M3 to clean up a cluster lens with milky spots on it. So far it has worked on all but a few.

At a pinch you can try tooth paste and tissues. It may help clean it up a little.

I had a similar thing happen on the perspex cover of the speedo on my VX SS, mine was more fine scratches and a haze I wiped it with the 303 but that seemed to make the perspex worse, I did a bit of a search on a few forums and one suggestion was to polish out the marks with Kitten Car Polish No:1, I gave that a go and it came up crystal clear. By the way I love the 303 for the dash, rubbers, lights etc, it just didn't seem to like the perspex on the speedo cluster, maybe there was dust or something on it and it scratched and clouded over. The polish brought it up like new again. You can buy replacement covers for the instrument panel though.
