Hi everyone.
Is there anything I can use to bring some shine to the black inserts on my front and rear bumpers (vy ss), the number plate surround and wiper cover? I clean it but it's really dull.
Cheers

I'm sure there are better products out there, but I have used this for a long while. It restores the black colour and gives a nice satin finish. Only problem is that it doesn't last for more than a month or so. 1 bottle lasts for years

Cheers. That's what I wanted.
I use tyre shine or amourall.
both contain silicone, both which will make it go grey/fade and deteriorate the plastics/rubbers.
I would recommend 303 Aerospace Protectant. Can be used on anything plastic, rubber and vinyl. Will leave a factory satin/matt finish with a bit of depth. However is water based so after heavy rain it will need to be re-applied. Although would you prefer making things oily and disgusting or using a product that is SPF40 and protects the plastics/vinyl/rubbers on your interior and exterior!
If they are heavily faded and need some oomph. I would then recommend Black WOW.
But definitely not what was mentioned! (Sorry guys!)

I used wax eraser today and it worked like magic !! Good stuff !
while you are grabbing some wax eraser, grab some 3m tape to avoid this happening again
to the op, definetly go the 303 as its a far superior product then armor all and the meguiars trim detailer. if you want another option then wolfs trim coat is a top choice too, highly recommend a few coats of this nano protection

seeing as it takes so long to dress the car with masking tape i was considering just using "wax eraser" once i'm done. see even when i use the blue non marking tape it still takes off some of the trim shiny coating. thoughts?
It only takes 5 minutes to tape up - You're just applying enough to give you a barrier between paint and trim. Personally, I'd go with the preventative measure (tape) than the cure. I've not used wax eraser, but most products that are strong enough to clean wax from a surface can dry out plastics and rubbers over time, so the less you need to use them, the less time you'll need to spend with trim restorers and or new trims in the future.
Whichever way you go though, it's a good idea to follow any kind of trim cleaning with a good dressing, like 303 or trim coat, as Toey suggested - and keep it topped up regularly.
