I was told AU thermo's are suited to 5Ls
And EF/L suited to Pre VL

Hi Guys,
Yes we do certainly sell the thermo fan set ups.
The AU Falcon ones are by far the easiest to fit up to the pre VS models.
The AU thermo fans are slightly ofset as the attached picture shows and not as wide as most other twins so when flipped upside down you only need to remove a small amount from the shroud to fit the radiator hoses through and fit them on a VB-VS Radiator (which are similar in size).
Because the VB-VS radiators are not as wide as the later versions (that do have twin thermo fans) it is near impossible to find a twin thermo fan shroud that will fit straight on (with out going to a custom manufacturer).
The AU shroud messures 74cmX46cm (outer dimensions including mounting brackets) and 65cmX46cm (the main shroud part that acctually does the sucking).
Where as the EF EL ones are 79cmX43cm and 70cmX43cm. That extra 5cm makes them just that little bit two big for the pre VT Commodores.
The prices for the thermo fans and shrouds are below.
AU Falcon $133.65
EL Falcon $148.50 ( Same as EF except for wiring)
VS V6 Commodore $155.90
VT V6 Twin Shroud $161.95
Prices do include GST but are plus postage.
Please let me know if you do have any other questions.
Best Regards
Andrew

You can wire it direct into your loom - all the relays etc are there. You need to reconfig the fueses a little. Check my VP thread for details. Very neat and easy.

Hi Holmez,
I think Reaper has certainly worked out an efficient way to get these wired in.
With regard to shipment. Delivery to SA via regsitered courier will be $34.50.
If you do have any other questions please let me know.
Best Regards
