Replacing Steering Wheel Radio Controls VY SS
I have bought a replacement steering wheel radio control from Holden for $100 for a bit of plastic.. Any fitting suggestions? Do I need to disconnect the airbag?

John, this is another piss easy task! Firstly disconnect battery, then the four screws on the back on the wheel are those security nuts, similar to allen screws but different shape, you will need special tool for this, any auto shop sells em! after those four have been taken off the cover should just come off. The radio controls are held on by 2 nuts, undo the nuts, disconnect the little plug from the harness, then whack in the new ones, redo the nuts, re-connect plug, then whack on the cover and put back in the four security nuts, re-connect ya battery and ya done!

Need help with steering wheel controls
I purchased some steering wheel controls for my VY exec ute that currently doesnt have any. Can someone help me with any suggestions. There is a strip of platic covering the sides of where the controls are mounted to and I could not find any loom to plug them into. are the wire looms pre existing like they are in the fords? I am desperite for some steering controls please help... many thanks
