Hi there,
I recently pulled out my dash to try and replace my blower after failing I put the whole thing back to geather again, but now my lights to
See the cluster at night don't work and ac light and demiseer light don't turn on, checked fuses and globes all good? Also the abs off light is on as well??????
Make sure all the contacts are clean and tight on the cluster.
i recently found out that my digital speedo Aka old "Speed alert" wouldn't work when one of the tracers had broke/split. maybe one of the tracers is broken and the lights won't work because of it?
just a guess.

How to fix speedo VS Commodore
Are you sure you have the light dimmer switch on the headlight switch working and have the switch wiring plugged in properly?

I have checked everything, put the ol tester over it and it seems that both the brown/white wire and grey wire are getting a ground signal, and neither turn off when lights are turned off or on, any ideas on why this is happening?
i have a series 3 s pack vs ute and my speedo is out. when my speed alert goes off at 100 my speed cluster thing says 90 so its 10 k's below how can i fix this problem. when the car is not going the needle sits below 0 when its ment to sit on 0 can it just be moved to 0 ???
does your centre console light under the selector letters eg P R N D S L and cigie light turn on and off when you turn the drive lights on via the dash switch?
cheers mate will that be my 10 k under problem to... i dunno how to get into it so ill just get the local mechanic to do it quickly
why put it on 20kmh not just srtaight to 0
how do you know the shaft has returned to 0 when you push the needle on? you could very well push it on at 0 to have it sit on the bottom of the dash once you stand the cluster upright.

ok.. cheers would it be easier just to take it to the mechanics??? so that way i cant stuff it up. i hope that will fix my problem.. cause when the car does around 10-15 it says 0-5
it's really easy, you just need to be gentle. but of course it's up to you.(you'll need to take it to an instrument specialist like gaugeworks etc.)

I did a quick google but I don't really know your area, ask a local auto-electrician if they know anywhere...

Camstatic is spot on when placing the needle back on - just put in onto the spindle lightly @ the 20k mark and nudge it down towards zero. It should be done in about 3 moves as in bit more pressure onto the spindle - closer to zero. I've found that if I try and do it in 1 move it always ends up under zero. (and I've done a few now)

Help just fitted level 3 cluster all seems fine except a (buzzing) noise from under dash.which wire is wrong or which wire do i cut.
going back to the original question... I have a VR commodore and recently removed the instrument cluster. Upon putting it back in none of my instrument lights work. Engine, oil, indicator lights etc. are all ok. All lights for ac, hazards, demist, PRND321, speedo, taco etc. are all out. I am at a loss. Can anyone help?
Cheers
It could be your head light switch, check all the pins in it are firmly held into the plug. check the wires are properly crimped into the pins, and check with a meter that there is power there. then ensure they are making good contact to the contacts on the switch.
the wire might have insulation damage, causing it to ground befor the lights.
the switch could be f**ked.
a fuse might be blown.
you might have a crap ground on the circut.
a wire may have been damage/cut hence no power at the load.
just get a meter and mesure the voltage, back tracking the circut, starting from the load, using a known ground. work your way back to the power source. and you should be able to pick up the power somewhere along the line.
hope this helps.
