    Exclamation Is my DFI screwed?

hey there, my car is dead I have no spark and i am suspecting the dfi unit as i have checked evrything else that i can think of with no luck, but i need some help... when it was in the car i removed the coils and put my test light the 4 wires, all 4 had a good healthy 12volts i cranked it over and it stayed constant - Should it pulse?? so it has voltage goin to it and the cas has voltage there and back up to the dfi, I have now removed the dfi unit I have continuity between all the pins and the wires that feed the coils??

Hard to say to be honest.. possibly the crank angle sensor?

I assume the engine is cold? As back in the day a failing CAS would make it seem like it's all dead. It was mainly when the engine was warm and the trick was to cool it down with about 5 Lt's of water over the sensor.

I also do remember a time I was told to un-clip and shake the computer while the engine was running (pass foot well) if the engine misfired or stalled it was clear the puter has gone to heaven.
    Cheers,

    Dave

i have replaced the cas, it was runing but now it wont run at all... tried cooling down the cas and had no luck also rechecked it and it seems to be all good - it is putting out a pulse when turned over by hand with the ignition on.
