My VP has a horrible buzzing noise coming through the stereo when I'm driving. I've been told that this can be caused by a faulty radio suppressor which seems sensible. My problem is that I don't know where it is or what it looks like, and my Gregory's manual is no help. I'm sort of hoping it's just a loose wire, but in the case it's actually busted, can you buy these from a Repco or am I going to have to look elsewhere?
Any help much appreciated.
is it only when radio is on? if yes is it worse on am then fm?
could be a bad earth at the antenna or the stereo itself, have you changed head units recently.
If it's the nopise surpressor then it a little silver barrel connected to the coil. It's replaceable for HUGE sum of about 1.50 from DickSmiths
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Cheers, I'll give that a go.
could be alternator wine
rolla way....erm. Yes, thats where the noise is coming from, but thats not why the noise is coming through.
