Hey, My Holden 99' VT right indicator just started playing up, it flashes 2x speed so i checked my fuse box and theres none blown, checked the front of the car and the indicator flashes, the right side indicator flashes, but then around the rear of the car the brake light on the right side doesnt work and the indicator on the rear right side doesnt work. Everything on the left side works correctly. checked rear globes but they are working.
Any ideas?
could my "flasher unit" be faulty right sided only? would that cause the lights indicators not to work?
The globes may be fine but the tail light loom might be broken.
Yeah, what red said!
Check out the earth in the tail light loom.
Poor earthing will do that.
Correct. Poor earth to your rh lamp cluster. For the record, the flasher can can't fail left or right. It's a single circut, that is supplied to your switch, which is then distributed left or right from there.![]()
happend to me but turns out the rear indecater globe wasnt pushed in enough
take it out and put it back in see if that helps.. worked for me
