VS v8 clubsport displaying weird readings.

Hi guys, i posted this in the other section but it might be better asked in here.
My vs clubsport tacho is playing up. when you turn it on it flashes the wiper and fuel lights and then all the readings ( such as l per 100) all reset and then look like gibberish. then after that when it returns it self.. all the settings are completly reset...

any ideas? thanks.
