Hey guys

After installing an amp into the boot of my VS this afternoon, i now have a few weird problems. turn ignition on and...
-air con fan on full (climate control unit off)
-no trip computer/odometer (green display backlight still works)
-no dash lights (but interior lights work)
-headlights work but no tail lights (reverse and indicators also work)

engine starts fine, and will drive but im not too keen about going anywhere with it as i dunno what else is going wrong, but if anyone thinks they might be able to point out what the hell I've done wrong, or where i should start looking on that would be great :)

What wiring connections did you make during the install?
Make sure you have the wiring connectors pushed together properly until they go right home...sometimes they mate up and slide together but dont click until you give it that final push.
Also do all the normal tests like making sure all the fuses are ok ....fuse 1 inside the cabin beside the steering column does a few things like you have mentioned ...have a look at that.
