Hey guys,

I have my neons hooked up to my cigarette lighter light so that when I turn on my lights they come, I also had a switch so I could have my parkers on but the neons off (in case of the boys in blue) but I was swapping the neons today and have totally forgotton how I had the switch wired up.

I drew a diagram if this helps, can anyone help me finish it,

Brown wire carrys 12v when the ignition is on, black is constant earth, grey is when the parkers are on. So you'll want to wire the grey wire to one switch terminal, then the other switch terminal to the neons, then the other end of the neons to the black wire or another earth. Kapish?

EDIT: If you wanted the switch to turn them on or off regardless of parkers being on, you could wire to the brown wire instead of the grey one.

grey (parking lights) and black (earth) is all your interested in... brown is accessories and anything you connect to that will remain on whilst the ignition is switched on. The switch can be wired anywhere in "series" of your circuit. Black wire, grey wire..doesnt matter.
