Hey guys i thought this was this is the best place to ask the question. I had LPG installed recently with a crappy little switch and i was wondering whether i can buy a factory holden LPG switch and use that instead.

Here is the switch i have right now:

Here is the factory holden switch that i would like to use:

I was also wondering whether it was possible to get the LPG light to light up on the cluster when i switch it to gas.

Well generally a switch is a switch, they all do the same job, so yes you should be able to. As for the LPG light, no idea :(

Negative. Check out the PCB (printed circuit board) on your switch, and multiple wires leading to it.
My guess is that it's got an IC in that switch with multiple functions.

So no chance of getting the factory holden switch working?

Without a wiring schematic of a factory LPG system, and your system, I can't be sure. For an educated guess, though, I'd say no.
