Just the other day, I went to unlock my 2005 VZ Exec wagon with the key, and the remote wouldn't work. The car wouldn't unlock. Tried walking around the car, triggering from different places, and it wouldn't work.
I opened the drivers door with the key, which set off the alarm. A minute or so after the alarm finished, the remote worked again, and I was able to unlock
Since then, I've swapped keys and still had the same problem, so I don't think it's a key battery issue. I got both keys when I had the BCM replaced in march 2009 due to the relay sticking.
Any ideas of why this might happen? And anybody know where the receiving antenna is for the remote keys?
