I have had this problem with older cars.
Check all your earth connections on the ligth circuits.
And check all the connectors unplug them and spary circiut cleaner on it.
Clean all the earth points.

VN are renowned for corroding the rear lamp sockets. Dont bother trying to clean them, just replace the dodgy set with new ones. If your brake/park globes dont earth (beacause of the corrosion) then the brake light will earth through the park/dash lights and turn your "lights on" indicator on.

could be the above, but try this.
someone has installed a one pin bulb into a two pin socket, and brake light power is feeding back into the parking light circuit. Commonly done by people without experience when installing globes.

Check all your brake light globes. Look into the socket, if it has two contacts (or 3 wires going to the socket) it needs a two pin bulb.
Alternatively, if it's only got one pin (or two wires) you ned a single pin globe.
